Till one day, Jayjay had a minor accident, she bumped her head on the playground at school but could not say anything. Despite the pain she felt words won't just come out of her mouth. She just cried silently on her own.

Time for professional intervention.
We were so fortunate, The Psychology Dept. of the University of Maryland was conducting research and treatment for Behavior Therapy for anxiety disorders.

Around 6 months of treatment with the finest Clinical Psychologist and Therapist in the country. Jayjay finally started to talk at school on the 5th Grade.

From there on, there was no stopping.

3 years after...
She won one of the most coveted award in Loiderman Middle School.
The LEGACY AWARD FOR CHORAL MUSIC, given to the most outstanding Choral Music Student.
