For most of Marylanders, Memorial day is the start of the summer season. It is a start of a long fun journey in going to places where you always dreamed of during the long winter and spring season. The miles-and-miles of sandy beaches on the east coast; the smell of chlorine on aquamarine pools and the mouth watering barbecue meals. We have a long list of must-go places not to mention the endless birthday and Filipino festivals all around MD, VA and Metro DC.
I have been to Chincoteague a few times but this is the first time that I've decided to stay for 3 days. It was one of the most memorable experiences I had with Family and Friends. The long drive doesn’t bother you when you had fun with the kids even inside the car and to see the countryside. Reminds me when I was a kid of what seems to be a very long drive (25 min) in Mactan in going to Marigondon Beach. As you aproach the Coastline in Chincoteague the smell of the sea brings back a lot of memories in Mactan.
I was lucky this year because I am in company with a few photography enthusiasts. There is nothing like having a photo shoot from the best Pinoy photogs in Maryland.
