I want to party here...

From Bellehaven

The Gaylord Hotel is magestic... a hotel enclosed in a crystal bowl ... it also have a dancing fountain like the one in Sentosa (Singapore). The tent at the Harbor was awesome... hope to have my Golden Anniversary here, that will be 50 + 25 (age when I got married) = 75 ... woweeee....hahahahah
I was also wondering how the food taste on this fancy Chinese restaurant ????

The Awakening

This masterpiece is the main attraction of the National Harbor... aside off course from the fanstatic view of the Potomac...

National Harbor

After winding up the CFCFFL picnic... we went across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge to visit for the first time the National Harbor. I was intrigue of the magnificent structure of the Gaylord Hotel as seen from the banks at Belle Haven... I bet it would look great during sunset.... and it really is....

CFCFFL 2009 Anniversary Picnic at Belle Haven

I can describe this year's Anniversary as meaningful and relaxing. Belle Haven park is a perfect to celebrate fun and meaningful events in the summer. The place offers a fantastic view of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and the view from the National Harbor. This place is a perfect choice to spend lazy weekend afternoons...

The Potomac River is a perfect backdrop for the Holy Mass. Just think of it like listening to one of Jesus's sermon on the banks of the Red Sea....

Highschool Orchestra have never been this good...

My niece Pearl was in town for a week. She was accepted for a free summer internship sponsored by Strathmore Music Arts and Montgomery College. She was mentored with the other High-Schoolers by someone (I forgot the name Maestro...) from the National Philharmonic Orchestra. I am not a fan of any Orchestra because if makes me fall asleep, but that night while sitting at the concert hall it was magical. So glad to see kids who are really dedicated in the field of music. It was a display of pure talent and dedication to the craft.
